1.    AVOID CARBOHYDRATES AND FATS:

Carbohydrates serve as a major energy source in the diet. There is a myth that food enriched with carbohydrates and fats makes you fatty. But the reality is calories make you fat not the Carbohydrates are necessary for a balanced diet and fat is not the cause of increasing obesity. People believe eliminating all high carbohydrate foods like potatoes, pastas and rice is the key to weight loss. But actually eating a potato or a fat enriched food will never let you gain weight automatically.

It’s the filling and topping of the creams that makes you fatter like the creamy sauces on pastas and butter or cheese on potatoes. The whole grain versions of carbohydrates are more filling because they contain fiber which delays the hunger and keeps you satisfied for a longer period of time. Health experts suggest a minimum 130gm of Carbs per day.

2.    INTENSIVE THE EXERCISE, QUICKER THE WEIGHT LOSS:

Workout is necessary to keep the body fit, enhance beauty and reduce fat. But people believe that doing excessive exercise will burn more fats. Even low intensity workouts act to reduce weights by burning fat for example the daily household chores, gardening, and walking reduces weight and burn calories. Exercising alone is not enough. For example if a person intakes 500 calories diet, he would have to walk briskly in order to burn those calories. So it is understood that to lose weight via exercise, we have to cut the calories as well. This means intensive exercise for weight loss is pretty useless, because it stimulates hunger.

3.    HERBAL WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS ARE ALWAYS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE:

Weight loss products claiming to be herbal or natural are not necessarily safe. Herbal slimming pills are most in demand nowadays because they are cheaper than the other supplements but are unethical because people do not have the true knowledge of herbs and natural products. They believe to what they see and listen through advertisements. Some herbal products contain ‘ephedra’ which causes serious health problems. So, one planning for a weight loss must be very careful and aware of these diet myths for increasing beauty.
